How do I sign in?
Civium uses Magic Link authentication — no password required. Enter your email address and we'll send you a secure sign-in link. Click the link in your email to access your account instantly. The link expires in 15 minutes and can only be used once.
Which organizations does Civium search for opportunities?
Civium covers 400+ organizations across four groups: UN agencies and programmes (UNICEF, WFP, FAO, WHO, UNDP, UNHCR, UN Women, UNESCO, ILO, IAEA, WIPO, ITU, OCHA, and many more), international organizations (AIIB, OECD, IMF, IMO, IOM, WTO, EMBL), leading think tanks (Brookings Institution, Carnegie Endowment, CSIS, RAND Corporation, Chatham House, European Policy Centre, Bruegel), and humanitarian NGOs (MSF, Oxfam, NRC, Save the Children, CARE, World Vision, ACTED, DRC, Plan International, and many more). New organizations are added regularly.
What is Civium?
Civium is an AI-powered matching service for international careers. It checks the career pages of 400+ UN agencies, NGOs, development banks and think tanks every day, scores each vacancy against your CV, and sends a ranked daily digest that links to the original postings. You apply directly on each organization's own site.
Do you guarantee job placement?
No. Civium provides matching and discovery tools, and hiring decisions are made by the external organizations. Civium does not apply on your behalf or send your CV to employers, and it does not decide your eligibility. You choose where and when to apply, directly on the organization's own site.
How does the AI matching work?
Our system analyzes your CV, skills, experience, and role preferences to identify relevant job opportunities. Each role is compared with your profile and ranked based on factors like skills, seniority level, experience, and sectors of interest. You can then filter results by duty station, organization, and other preferences to narrow down the list.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your data is protected using encryption in transit and at rest, and stored on secure infrastructure with controlled access. We do not sell your personal data and only use it to operate the service. Civium is operated by Sireda AB, a company registered in Sweden, and processes personal data under the EU GDPR.
Do you share my CV with employers?
No. Your CV is never shared with employers, and your personal information is not shared without your action. Our platform helps you discover opportunities — you decide if and when to apply. Civium does not apply on your behalf, and your CV and profile data are used solely to power your matching. You apply directly through each organization's own portal.
How does the free trial work?
When you create your account, a free trial starts automatically — no payment card required. During your trial you get access to your top 10 matched opportunities, including apply links and match scores. Your trial lasts 3 days (shown in your dashboard). Subscribe to unlock your full recommendations list and continue uninterrupted. You can subscribe at any time during or after your trial.
Subscription & Billing
How does billing work after the trial?
If a subscription is active after the trial, it renews automatically each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. Nothing is charged during the trial, and no payment card is required to start it. You can cancel from your billing settings, and access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel from your billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the billing period. There are no cancellation fees and no forms to complete. If you hold a one-time access pass instead of a subscription, there is nothing to cancel, because a pass does not renew.
What is a 48-hour or 7-day access pass?
An access pass is a one-time, non-recurring payment that unlocks full dashboard access for a fixed period — 48 hours or 7 days from the moment of purchase. Unlike the monthly subscription, a pass does not renew and no further charge is ever taken.
How is an access pass different from the monthly subscription?
The monthly subscription renews automatically until you cancel and gives ongoing access. An access pass is a single payment for a fixed, short window of full access with no renewal, no cancellation needed, and no recurring charge. You can choose whichever fits how you're using Civium right now.
Can I buy an access pass if I already have one active, or if I have a subscription?
Yes. Buying another pass while one is active adds its duration on top of your current access rather than replacing it. You can also subscribe monthly at any time, whether or not you hold an active pass — the two are independent.
What happens when my access pass expires?
Your dashboard locks the same way it does when a free trial ends. You can buy another pass or subscribe monthly at any time to restore access — nothing is charged automatically. A pass is a single payment for a fixed period of full access, 48 hours or 7 days, and it never renews.
Privacy & Data
How is my data protected?
Data is processed using secured infrastructure with access controls, encryption, and policy-based retention. We do not sell your personal data and only use it to operate the service. You can export your data from Settings → Privacy & Data Rights, and you can request account deletion by emailing privacy@mycivium.com.
Can I request data deletion?
Yes. To export your data, go to Settings → Privacy & Data Rights. To request account deletion, email privacy@mycivium.com. Please cancel any active subscription before requesting deletion. We process deletion requests within one month. Your data is then removed from active systems immediately, and backup copies are purged automatically within 35 days.
Product Usage
How often are match results updated?
Updates depend on source availability and processing cycles. Civium explores the public career pages of the organizations it covers every day. Closed roles leave your list once their deadline passes. New results appear in your dashboard when available, and your ranked list changes as the market moves.
Can I change my preferences later?
Yes. You can update targeting and notification settings in the dashboard at any time, subject to policy limits. You can narrow results by organization, organization type, duty station and posting date, and set the grades and sectors you are targeting. Revisit them whenever your situation changes.
Can I filter by role type, grade level, or location?
Yes. The dashboard lets you filter by organization, duty station, posted date, and matching score. You can also set the grades and sectors you are targeting, and choose the organization types and duty stations you would accept, so that stretch roles are not filtered out.
